Historically, dragon fruit is planted in the southern parts of Vietnam. However, farmers have recently been planting Vietnamese dragon fruit in the North. Most of dragon fruits are now planted in Vietnam under Vietgap standards.

There are two main kinds of Vietnamese dragon fruit: white-core and red-core. Both of them are delicious and interested by foreign customers.
